(These are a few of my favorite things….don’t you just love that movie)
I was on one of my favorite websites ,XO Jane, last week and felt inspired by friend in my head, Emily McCombs. In her article she discusses the beauty products she cannot live without. These are the products you searched everywhere find, you know the products I’m talking about. The mascara that perfectly defines you lashes, the lipstick that makes you feel sassy, the perfume that speaks to the core of who you are, you’re getting the idea. After reading I started to think about all the products I would rage about if they are ever discontinued. I used Emily’s ranking from total rampage to partial destruction.
Find out more about them after the jump.
L’Oreal Lineur Instense $7.25
This is the best liquid eye liner I have ever used. It’s got great pigmentation and lasts all day. But if you make a mistake it can be easily wiped off and it comes with a super sturdy felt tip applicator. This eye liner has changed my life and I love it.
L’Oreal Magic Perfecting Base, $13
Do you use primer? No, well then you should really use primer it will change your life. It helps to keep your make-up from sliding off your face. It doesn’t get hot for long here. But when it does this stuff is a life saver. It also works great for the club too. Miracle product I tell you.
Physicians Formua: Happy Booster Bronzer,$13.95
I spent many months looking for the perfect bronzer without avail. So when my beauty guru, Cat Marnel, suggested this I went out and purchased it. Cat was spot on I love this so much. It gives a nice glow all over, not too sparkly, just the right amount of sun kissed goodness.
Oyin Handmade Whipped Pudding, $6-18
One of my Holy Grail (HG) Products. I discovered this product the winter of 2011 and I have never looked back. I have tried other types of butter mixes and I always come back to Whipped Pudding. The texture is much more lighter than regular shea butter so it goes on easy. It perfectly seals in moisture and leaves my hair feeling super soft.
PuraBody Naturals Murumuru Moisture Milk, $15
If you haven’t figured it out already, I love this stuff. It’s the best leave-in conditioner I have ever used. Its gives me moisture, shine and is light enough for everyday use. Plus the smell is heavenly.
Garnier Fructis Triple Nutrition Conditioner, $3
I love this as a Deep Conditioner (DC) by adding olive oil, honey, coconut oil, and castor oil. However the good people at Garnier decided that they needed to add SILICONE to the formula. Lucky for me I bought that last few bottles of the original formula off the shelves. So I have a stash to last me the next couple of months. But then I have to start looking for a new DC, any suggestions?
These are some of the current products that I can’t live without, what are some of yours?
